Howard Zebker appointed as Kwoh-Ting Li Professor in the School of Engineering
The Friends of the Stanford University Foundation established the Kwoh-Ting Li Professorship in honor of economist Dr. Kwoh-Ting Li, a champion of technological innovation in Taiwan.
Dr. Howard Zebker has been appointed the Kwoh-Ting Li Professor in the School of Engineering.
A Stanford alum (PhD, ‘84), Howard serves as professor of electrical engineering and of geophysics and as an affiliate of the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment. Howard joined the Stanford faculty in 1995 and is recognized the world over for his work in interferometric radar remote sensing applications and technique development. Earlier this year, Howard was elected to the 2024 class of the National Academy of Engineering, a fitting acknowledgment by his peers of the magnitude of his contributions to the field of engineering over the course of his entire career.
