Ettore Biondi

Ettore will be joining the Geophysics department as an Assistant Professor in April 2025. He completed his Ph.D. in Geophysics at Stanford in 2021, after which he joined the Caltech Seismological Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Scholar until 2023. Currently, he is a Research Scientist at the Caltech Southern California Seismic Network. His research focuses on advancing fiber-sensing technologies for earthquake monitoring, early warning, and subsurface imaging and characterization.
